Library & offline reading

Organize, customize and download.

Your library comes first

Saved entries are read from the local database. Background refreshes should leave those entries visible. A first sign-in on a new device still needs to fetch the account's library, and covers that have never been cached may need a connection.

Categories and filters

Use the category selector to switch collections. Filter by unread, downloaded, started, bookmarked or completed titles. Sort and filter your existing library locally; they do not need a network round trip.

Make the grid comfortable

Open Library display settings and choose Comfortable grid, Compact grid, Cover grid or List. Adjust items per row and overlay badges. Your choices are saved locally first and synced when a connection is available, so a failed request should not reset the grid.

Download a chapter

From manga details, open the download menu and choose chapters. Wait for the download queue to report completion before going offline. A library cover and chapter list are not the same as downloaded page images.

Read offline

Open a successfully downloaded chapter from your library. To check offline readiness, disable the network and open it before relying on the download during a journey. Manage storage and remove unwanted downloads from the app's storage/download controls.
